RAINDROP TECHNIQUE

Shift your being, one drop of oil at a time.

Balance, harmony, and body wellness through Raindrop Technique

What is Raindrop Technique?

Raindrop Technique involves dropping essential oils along the spine and applied on the feet. The sessions is one hour, and it combines a few principles into one technique for maximum therapeutic and health benefits.

The oils are dropped from 6 inches above the spine. It feels like raindrops landing on your spine, hence the name. There is a combination of the feeling of the oils hitting the skin, the massage techniques, and the properties of the specific essential oils. All resulting in this unique and effective form of therapy.

The Benefits

Reduce stress and anxiety
Not only can the oils enhance positive emotions, such as joy and happiness, but they can also help us release negative emotions that are subconsciously stored on a cellular level.

Relax muscles
Basil, wintergreen, marjoram, cypress and peppermint essential oils help with all the common muscle discomforts.

Emotional well-being
Essential oils effect the limbic system in the brain where emotions are stored and controlled. Certain scents provide soothing experiences that the brain registers and responds to.

What to expect

There will be a neat application (undiluted on the skin) of 9 different essential oils – first applied to the bottom of the feet, and then dropped from 6 inches above the spine, providing a raindrop feeling. Using very gentle massage techniques, the essential oils are distributed along the spine.

If it is a little ticklish, it means it’s working! This response is your nervous system and is exactly as intended. The oils are then further worked into the skin with firmer pressure.

This technique is meant to be performed with calming silence to allow for a pure meditative and serene relaxation of the nervous system.

Some of the oils are warming oils and other are cooling oils – be prepared to experience different sensations. Everyone is different in the degree of warming and cooling that is felt.

How to prepare?

It’s important before all treatments and sessions at Let Health Flow to increase your water intake before and after. This is always to assist in toxins moving out of the system.

Having 9 essential oils applied to your spine will leave you smelling wonderfully aromatic. Wear a shirt that you are OK with transfering that aroma to.

We encourage you to sleep without washing off the oils, the longer you leave the oils on your skin, the higher the benefits.
